Baeklocdam(Top of Mt.Hallasan)

Hallasan Mountain is one of Korea's three most famous peaks, and it is the highest mountain in South Korea. The final volcanic eruption that took place approximately 25 thousand years ago created the crater lake, Baengnokdam, at the summit of the mountain.

Geomun Oreum

The eroded valley of lava that erupted from the middle of Geomunoreum is the largest on Jeju Island.

manjanggul Cave

Manjanggul Cave is a 7.4-km lava tube. It is an internationally-known large cave at 18m-wide and 23m-high. The 7.6m lava column at the end of the public section of the cave is the largest of its kind in the world.

Cheonjiyeon Waterfalls

Cheonjiyeon means a pond created by “the meeting sky and land.” The white column of thunderous water falling from the cliff is a magnificent sight.

Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone

Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone was formed through hydrovolcanic eruptions in Seongsan-ri, Seongsan-eup. The highest point of the crater ridge was used as a signal-fire platform. Around 150 species of plants live on Seongsan Ilchulbong Tuff Cone.

Paper Submission

Submission Guidelines

  • All papers(Word(or Latex) and PDF) will be submitted electronically through the paper Submission system at : For further instructions, please refer to the System user's manual.
  • If you already have an account with that system, please use that account to submit your paper. Otherwise,please refer to the System user's manual

  • Full papers must be 8 pages or less in required format.

  • Extended abstract must be 2 pages or less in required format.

  • All papers and Extended Abstracts will be published in the AsiaSim 2021 confernece proceedings and this proceedings will be distributed in the conference.

  • Particularly, selected papers are index by EI. And extended versions of qualified full papers are recommend for publication in the special issues in IJIE(International Journal of Industrial Engineering SCI(E)) or the ETRI Journal (SCI) or the JASSE(Journal of Advanced Simulation in Science and Engineering by JSST). And the process starts after the conference event.

  • Papers should be written in English and will be presented orally or poster at the conference.

  • Full paper and extended abstract templates(LaTeX, Word), please use the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) format for their initial submission. The LNCS template is available from below:

Reviewing Guidelines

  • Papers must be unpublished and must not be submitted for publication elsewhere

  • After you submitted your full paper or extended abstract, the following process takes place:
  • All papers will be reviewed by the International Program Committee formed by the ASIASIM council members, and other experts active in the field to ensure high quality and relevance to the conference.
  • You will receive a notification of acceptance or rejection.
  • If your submission was accepted, a camera-ready copy must be submitted.
  • The accepted paper must be pre-registered for at least one of the authors of each paper.
  • Attendance by at least one author of accepted papers is mandatory and the speaker’s brief biography should be submitted by e-mail(asiasim.korea@gmail.com).
